The New World

Keith Latman began and ran internet departments for a number of car dealerships. Thanks in part to his ingenuity, one of the car dealerships in the San Francisco Bay Area, sold over 1,200 cars in just one year. As a result, he was able to create iMagicLab, which began its run as iCarMagic, in order to help dealers build and cultivate long-lasting relationships with their clients. Along with being the co-founder of iMagicLab, he is also the Chief Software Architect. Keith is married to the love of his life, Alisa, and has three remarkable children: Michael, Lindsey, and Clarissa.

Unfortunate Venture
Keith's first venture into the retail world was Microworkz. Like most start-up businesses, everything that could go wrong did. Keith found himself and the company buried under a mountain of problems, and he knew that Microworkz was going to fail. Instead of being depressed about the situation, however, Keith picked himself up, dusted himself off, and decided to use the situation to learn from his mistakes. He soon started RetailTRAC, which was sold to Minow LLC shortly after he started it. And Micros snapped up his MicroPOS company faster than you can snap your fingers.

In The Beginning

There is one man, however, who has dreams of a perfect IT field, and who has the experience and training to get there. Keith Latman is a man who never believed that he would be involved in the IT world. His dreams of becoming a writer and living on a boat somewhere were, mercifully, stopped in their tracks when he stumbled onto internet technology and fell in love.

He knew that the uses of internet technology were vast, and the depths unplumbed, and that he could learn how to transform the internet from something that allowed you to send grandma and grandpa pictures to something that would actually benefit the retail world.

The world of internet technology is a vast one. Every day somebody discovers something new. It used to be that computers took up an entire room, now they can fit into the palm of your hand. Waiting to connect to the internet could take a minute or two then, and some days, snail-mail was faster than e-mail.

Now you can stay connected to the internet constantly and can have business meetings with full video and voice connection. In the world of high speed connections, however, there are many people that claim to know how to revolutionize the technology that plays such a big part in our lives. Unfortunately, most of them are idealistic and do not have the skills, or the experience, to be able to pull off their ideas.
